Privacy policy
Last updated October 2026
This policy explains what Private Nurse Collective LLC (“Private Nurse Collective”, “we” or “us”) collects through this website, by telephone and email, and in the course of arranging and providing care, and what we do with it. By using this website or contacting us, you accept this policy. If you do not accept it, please do not use the website or send us information.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers this website, inquiries made through it, and calls and emails with us. Care records for clients are also governed by the written client agreement. Where the client agreement and this policy differ, the client agreement controls.
Information collected on this website
Information you give us. When you send an inquiry or another form on this website, we collect what you enter, such as your name and contact details, your relationship to the person needing care, and the kind of care you are asking about. What a form asks for may change over time. Please do not send medical information through the website.
Information collected automatically. When you visit, we, our hosting provider and the companies that provide tools for the website may automatically collect information about your device and your visit. This can include your IP address and approximate location, browser and device type, device and advertising identifiers, the pages you view, the links and buttons you use, the page or site that sent you here, and the date and time. We may keep form submissions in our email and business systems or with the companies that provide them.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This website may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, local storage and similar technologies. Some are needed for the website to work, for example to keep what you typed in a form while it is being corrected. Others may be used to understand how the website is used, to measure and improve it, and to measure and support our advertising.
We may use analytics services, such as Google Analytics, and advertising services, such as those offered by Google, Meta and other platforms. These companies may collect information about your visits to this website and other websites over time, link it to other information they hold, and use it to show you our advertisements elsewhere and to measure how well they work. Their use of that information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
We do not intend to use these technologies to collect health information, and we ask advertising and analytics providers not to use information from this website for that purpose. Because a form may ask about the kind of care you need, please do not include medical details anywhere on the website.
Your browser lets you block or delete cookies, though parts of the website may not work without them. You can also limit interest-based advertising through your device and platform settings, Google’s Ad Settings, and the opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org. The website does not respond to Do Not Track signals, except where the law requires it.
What we collect by telephone, by email and in the course of care
When you call or write to us, we keep a record of who contacted us, how to reach them and what was discussed. If care goes ahead, we collect what we need to arrange and provide it, which can include the client’s health history, medications, physicians, hospice team, care plan, nursing notes, schedule, household details and emergency contacts, along with billing details and the people authorized to receive bills and updates.
Some of this comes from people other than the client: family members, a business manager or attorney, physicians, hospital discharge planners and hospice teams. If you give us information about another person, you confirm that you are allowed to share it.
How we use it
We use the information to answer inquiries, assess whether we can help, arrange and provide care, keep the people involved in care informed, schedule and supervise our nurses, bill and collect payment, keep the records the law and our insurers expect, and protect our clients, our nurses and the business. We may also use it to improve our services and to meet legal, insurance and accounting duties.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information for money. Some state laws treat letting advertising or analytics providers collect information through cookies and pixels as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. Where such a law applies to you, you can ask us not to do this by writing to contact@privatenursecollective.com.
We share information as needed: with our own nurses and employees; with the client’s physicians, hospice team and other providers involved in care; with the people the client or their representative names to receive updates or bills; with companies that work for us, such as our email, telephone, hosting, website, payroll, accounting, legal and insurance providers; and with analytics and advertising providers as described above.
We may also disclose information without asking first when we believe it is required or permitted by law, including in answer to a subpoena, court order or request from a government agency; to report suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation as Missouri law requires; to prevent harm to a person; to protect our rights, property, nurses or clients; to enforce our agreements; or in connection with a dispute, claim or investigation.
If the business, or part of it, is sold, merged or reorganized, information may pass to the new owner, who will be bound by this policy for the information it receives.
Email and security
We use reasonable measures to protect what we hold. No website, email system or office is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be lost, intercepted or seen by someone it was not meant for. Ordinary email is not encrypted from end to end. Please do not send medical information by email or through the website. The phone is the right place for that conversation.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss of information that happens while it travels over the internet, or that results from something outside our reasonable control.
How long we keep it
Website and inquiry information is kept for as long as it is useful to us and then deleted. Analytics and advertising providers keep what they collect on their own schedules. Client and care records are kept for as long as the law, our professional obligations, our insurers and the possibility of a claim or dispute require, which can be many years after care ends.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, by writing to contact@privatenursecollective.com. We will need to confirm who you are first. We may keep information when the law requires it, when it is part of a care record, or when we need it to protect the business, settle a dispute or meet an obligation, and we will tell you if we do.
If a law where you live gives you more rights than this policy, contact us and we will respond as that law requires.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information through it from anyone under 18. Information about a minor who needs care is collected from a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may change this policy at any time by posting the new version here. Changes take effect when they are posted. Using the website or contacting us after a change means you accept the policy as changed.
