Terms
Terms of use
Last updated October 2026
These terms apply to anyone who uses this website, which is run by Private Nurse Collective LLC (“Private Nurse Collective”, “we” or “us”). By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
Not medical advice
Everything on this website is general information. It is not medical, nursing or legal advice, and it is no substitute for the judgment of a physician or nurse who knows the person. Using the website, sending an inquiry or calling us does not create a nurse–patient relationship or any other professional relationship.
In an emergency, call 911. Do not use the inquiry form or email for anything urgent. We may not see them for some time.
No offer of care
Nothing on this website is an offer to provide care or a promise that care is available. Every request starts with an assessment, and we may decline any inquiry or request for care, for any lawful reason, without explanation. Descriptions of services, rates, shift lengths, service areas and timing are general, may change without notice, and are not a quote. The rate for a household is set in its client agreement.
Private Nurse Collective is a private pay provider. We do not bill insurance or government health programs, and we make no statement about whether any insurer will reimburse you.
Nursing licenses are held by the individual registered nurses we employ. Private Nurse Collective itself holds no nursing license, and nothing on this website says otherwise.
What you send us
When you send an inquiry, you confirm that what you give us is true, that you are at least 18, and that you are allowed to share any information about another person that you include. Please do not send medical information through the website or by email. If you do, you accept the risk of sending it that way.
You may not use the website to send false inquiries, to pose as someone else, or to send anything unlawful, harmful or abusive.
Using the website
You may view and print pages of this website for your own personal use. You may not copy, scrape or harvest its content or contact details, use it to build another product or service, try to get into any part of it you are not meant to reach, interfere with how it works, test it for weaknesses without our written permission, or use it in any way that breaks the law.
We may suspend or end anyone’s access to the website at any time, for any reason, without notice.
Our name, logo and content
The name Private Nurse Collective, the logo and mark, and the website’s words, design and images belong to Private Nurse Collective or are used with permission. Nothing on the website grants you any right to use them. Any use beyond viewing the website needs our written permission in advance.
No warranties
The website is provided as it is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises of any kind about it, express or implied, including that it will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure or free of errors or harmful code, and including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. You use the website at your own risk.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Private Nurse Collective and its owners, officers, employees and nurses will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or loss of goodwill, arising from or related to the website or these terms, even if we were told such damages were possible.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the website or these terms is limited to one hundred dollars ($100).
These limits apply whatever the legal theory, whether contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or anything else. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Claims about care are governed by the client agreement, not by this section.
Your responsibility to us
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Private Nurse Collective and its owners, officers, employees and nurses from any claim, loss, liability, cost or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your use or misuse of the website, information you send us, or your breach of these terms.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from or related to the website or these terms must be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Boone County, Missouri, and you agree to those courts’ personal jurisdiction.
To the fullest extent the law allows, you and we each give up the right to a jury trial, and you agree to bring any claim only on your own behalf and not as a member or representative of any class or group.
Any claim arising from or related to the website or these terms must be filed within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.
If we take legal action to enforce these terms and win, you agree to pay our reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms at any time by posting the new version here. Changes take effect when they are posted. Using the website after a change means you accept the terms as changed.
The rest
These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the website. If any part of them cannot be enforced, that part is limited as little as needed and the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a term, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours, including to a new owner of the business.
